Delaware Chapter

This dynamic program on social media featured a panel of Delaware's social media mavens who shared their first-person stories about how Facebook, Twitter and FourSquare have helped their organizations in tangible ways. We heard how the use of social media helped rally support for a cause, solved a problem, and increased customer traffic and sales.

Panelists included Felicia Pullam, Office of Governor Jack Markell; Kim Kostes, Food Bank of Delaware; and Phil Woods, SBP Marketing, LLC.

Felicia Pullam is the elusive *F, tweeting on behalf of @GovernorMarkell and serving as a core member of the Governor's communications team. Prior to joining Delaware state government, Felicia lived in Asia for nearly a decade, leading the regional Corporate Responsibility practice for APCO Worldwide. Felicia wasn't always a corporate hack or a bureaucrat though - she started off her career as a Princeton in Asia Teaching Fellow and later worked on the set of Zhang Yimou's Hero, as Zhang Ziyi's English tutor. Kim Kostes is Community Relations Manager at the Food Bank of Delaware. She oversees all aspects of the organization's mission-based cause marketing campaigns and events, including social media outreach. Prior to joining the FBD in April 2008, Kim was the Program and Communications Specialist at the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce. Phil Woods is the owner and founder of SBP Marketing, LLC, a Wilmington-based marketing firm specializing in local small business promotion. An entrepreneur, marketing strategist, consultant and analyst, Phil is always working on a new project. He created WHEREinDE.com, DEALSinDE.com and PLACESinDE.com to connect locals and promote area businesses. Phil is a graduate from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor's degree in Economics.
